At your Facility
Objective:
To increase the participants' level
of knowledge of rigging gear inspection, safe rigging procedures
and load control using almost any vertical or horizontal rigging
system.
Time:
A 4 day program consisting of classroom workshop activities and
hands-on rigging. Maximum of 12 participants.

Hands On Session:
Several loads are to be rigged and moved
by participant teams using available gear and equipment. Teams
to incorporate all portions of their Rigger's Checklist to successfully
complete each load station.
Location & Equipment:
The course is conducted at a client-provided
classroom facility (complete with a computer projector, screen,
and chalk or marker board), with access to all available rigging
gear, a variety of loads, and at least two cranes. Program content
will determine the rigging materials/equipment required for the
program. ITI is prepared to supply any item client company does
not have available.
Materials:
Each participant receives a Course
Workbook, Rigger's Reference Cards (Journeyman & Master), and Rigging Gear Inspection
Reference Card. Special material-handling equipment is available
from ITI's Mobile Learning Center, if needed. Rental fees may be incurred
depending on the equipment requested.
