Industrial Training International, Inc. fully endorses the national certification program offered by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO), and will prepare candidates for the NCCCO certification examinations.

The National Commission for Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) was developed to provide a common basis by which crane operators could be evaluated and qualified. The process includes the successful completion of written exams and hands-on performance for cranes typically operated by the candidate.

Program Sessions:

The NCCCO preparatory and certification week sponsored by Industrial Training International, Inc. is formatted into three parts for qualified candidates.

Monday - Wednesday: Test Preparation Training

Classroom Only
Instructional preparation program, complete with training sessions, sample exams and load chart exercises.

* Thursday: Written Exams (Must be registered within 5 weeks of program date.)

The core exam is administered along with the number of specialty exams as opted by the candidate. The specialty exam types include:

  • Small Telescopic
  • Large Telescopic
  • Lattice Boom Truck
  • Lattice Boom Crawler

    • Additionally, candidates may choose the following exams:

    • Tower Crane
    • Overhead Crane

    Friday: Practical Exams

    Candidates perform the hands–on practical portion of their certification process during the Friday session. Practical tests are provided based on the candidate's category selection and include small telescopic, large telescopic, and lattice boom cranes.
