At your Facility

Objective:

To increase the participants' level of knowledge of proper use and pre-operational inspection of overhead lifting devices, which include bridge, gantry, monorail, fixed hoists and jib wall mounts.

Time:

1 day – maximum 8 participants – classroom workshops and hands-on activities.

Classroom Subjects:

* Control Functions
* Crane Operating Practices
* Hand Signals
* Rigging
* OSHA/ASME Standards

Hands On Session:

Loads are to be moved by each participant using the Operator's Checklist covered during the program.

Location & Equipment:

The course is conducted at a client-provided classroom facility (complete with a computer projector, screen, and chalk or marker board), with access to all available rigging gear, a variety of loads, and at least two lifting devices.

Materials & Fees:

Each participant receives a Course Workbook, a Journeyman Rigger's Reference Card and a Rigging Gear Inspection Reference Card.
